Most exciting, however, is the birthday we are celebrating tomorrow. Jet turns 9 and is SO excited! He has had to live through his brother and sister's birthdays before he gets to celebrate his first with a family. And gifts.
Jet has truly not talked about anything else this week! Today by 10:15am I had heard no less than 5 times that tomorrow was his birthday. And I was only with him from 7am to 8:30! My sister had him for the rest of the time and heard it about 5x as well!! LOL
He is just a little excited. Maybe.

Yay for you! I'm so curious, did you guys choose to wait this long or have you had to wait this long to finalize? Joel is going to need a little surgery and we are hoping to wait to finalize but don't need to wait months and months. Thought I'd ask...

So happy that you got a court date set up. We were able to finalize 6 months after coming home. Our daughter seemed REALLY relieved to know that it was finished! The other day she was looking a little worried thinking it wasn't really finished as we were talking about needing to register the adoption at a Thai Royal Consulate. We reassured her that she is permanently a part of our family. She keeps talking about her next birthday and is planning it all out months before it arrives. I guess the first birthday in America was a hit! In fact, she blinked back tears as people sang to her and she was about to blow out the candles.
Yay! All kinds of exciting things and monumental occasions for your family!
